Donovan Stokes recently appointed to VASTA and Winchester Orchestra Boards

Tuesday, August 24th, 2010

I am please to say that I will be serving my profession and my community by serving on the boards of The Virginia String Teachers Association and the Winchester Orchestra.

Virginia String Teachers Association is a state chapter of ASTA and I encourage all string players, teachers and students, to become a member.  In addition to helping to fund various workshops and clinics throughout the year, VSTA provides a variety of great services to the regional string community and is committed to preserving quality music education. If you are a member in the Northwest Region of Virginia, please send me your activity information so we can keep the entire state informed about our area. If you are not a member…join!

The Winchester Orchestra is new orchestra in the Shenandoah Valley with a very energetic conductor Andrew Gekoskie.  If you live in the Shenandoah Valley, support your new local orchestra. Visit them online and hear them live and in person. Keep the arts alive in our area.
